Although a bit of an outpatient topic, I thought we'd take a look at 'Colonoscopic Polypectomy and Long-Term Prevention of Colorectal-Cancer Deaths' from this week's NEJM:

1. It got a lot of press.
2. It was ridiculed in last week's Grand Rounds.
3. It has some great methodological flaws.
4. It does evaluate an outcome we like (in studies, at least): death
