MRI screening forms:
As per Director of Nursing for Northwest (Moses) as of 6/12/2022: unit RNs can complete MRI screening forms on the unit
Phlebotomy:
As per Vice President for GME as of 8/2/2019: nurses can now be expected to draw timed-labs, STAT labs, and labs that were cancelled by phlebotomy- either because they were unsuccessful or the patient was unavailable. The mechanism for house staff to do this is to order the labs via Unit Performed in EPIC. If a nurse is needed to perform a blood draw, please ask house staff to have a conversation with the patient's nurse to let her/him know that the labs that appear on the nurse’s Worklist will not be drawn by a physician. Please be respectful of Nursing sign-out so that timed-labs are not ordered during those times
